Now for our Summer Institutes
Institute for Equity in Education,
July 6-10, 2009.
A 4.5-day residential
program for local educators designed to help participants
develop the skills, tools, and resources necessary to create
effective and equitable learning environments for all
students. Discounts are available for early
registrants (before May 15) and participants who arrive as part of a campus
team. The program is made possible in part with a
sponsorship from La Casa de Maria Retreat Center in Santa
Barbara.

CommUnity Leadership Institute, August
8-15, 2009. An eight
day summer camp that seeks to empower Central Coast youth to
better understand themselves, their peers, and the world
around them. The Institute
prepares youth to become more
effective leaders, change agents, and civic activists
advancing social justice in their schools and communities.
The summer camp will be held at Ojai Valley High School.
